Guardian Management LLC was founded in 1971 and remains privately held into its third generation of owners. With a long history as a property management industry leader, the company’s continuing success has led to parallel achievement in growth of its real estate investment and development activities. By consistently focusing on creating excellent communities for its residents and capital growth opportunities for its investors, Guardian has established itself as one of the largest, privately held owner-operators in the western United States.

Based in Portland, Ore., Guardian maintains a strong presence throughout the western region of the United States, managing apartment communities in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Arizona and Texas. While its portfolio of properties is geographically distributed, the highest concentrations are in Portland, Ore., Seattle and Phoenix.

The Guardian team specializes in organizing and executing complex financial structures, while routinely placing conventional debt. The team has strong experience with public-private partnerships, layered financing, master-leasing, tax exempt bonds and tax credit equity through several programs.
